Jamie's Thoughts: A Paleo-ish Thanksgiving
Having lived far from my family for over a decade, navigating the holidays in unfamiliar and sometimes uncomfortable circumstances can be hard. Showing up at a friend's family Thanksgiving dinner. Or going to a current boyfriend's family gathering, where the uncertainty of the direction of your relationship may be compounded by the discomfort of finding your place in the potential new family in-law.

Fall weather has finally descended on the Bay Area after an uncomfortably warm September and October. This is my favorite season--hands down. I just love the chill in the air and the leaves changing colors. Something about it makes me feel all warm and fuzzy inside.

Fagan Eats Paleo Recipe: Party Guacamole
This is my most favorite recipe to take to parties. It's quick, easy, and simple. Oh and award winning--that is if you count a guacamole contest at a friend's apartment. Hey--the competition was steep and I prevailed! Haha. I won an assortment of Trader Joe's goodies and a tote bag.

Jamie's Thoughts: When You're Going Through Hell...
There’s this saying you may have heard of, ”When you’re going through hell, keep going...” by Winston Churchill. Well, it may not have been from Winston Churchill. It's origin is uncertain. I learned it in the context of working in family law; and it was advice my boss doled out to divorcing clients often.
